fone.me gives you an AI agent that answers your calls and messages when you cannot pick up, and that can call other people for you. You claim a link at fone.me/yourname, turn the agent on and tell it what to say. When someone calls or messages and you miss it, the agent talks to them, finds out what they need and sends you a short summary of what happened.
The agent works across the places people already reach you: missed calls on your number, WhatsApp, iMessage and Telegram, plus your fone.me link. It also works in the other direction. You can ask it to book a table, get a quote from a plumber or move an appointment, and it places the call, reports back and asks you before it spends anything. When the person on the other side also uses fone.me, the two agents can arrange things between themselves and only bring you in for what needs you. Setup takes about a minute, and the free plan needs no card.
Setup is three steps. Sign in with Apple, Google or email. Choose your link, fone.me/yourname, which becomes the page where people reach you. Then turn it on for missed calls, WhatsApp and iMessage, and tell the agent what to say.
From then on, the agent picks up what you miss. It answers the caller or the message, asks what they need and replies with the information you gave it, such as opening hours or an address. Afterwards you get a summary, for example "Asked about Saturday hours. Told them 10 to 6."
For outgoing tasks you ask the agent to make the call. It phones the restaurant, the tradesperson or the office, handles the conversation and comes back to you to confirm before anything is final. With Premium you get your own phone number that anyone can call and that the agent answers.
