About ToukaPNG
ToukaPNG is a Japanese-language web tool that removes the background from an image and saves the subject as a transparent PNG. You pick a photo of a person, product, pet or illustration, the AI identifies the subject and deletes the background automatically, and you download the result at the original size with no watermark. The site brands itself simply as 背景透過 (background transparency) and runs at toukapng.com.
Its main draw is a free mode that needs no registration and has no usage limit. For harder images, such as fine hair, thin product edges or long pet fur, there is a high-precision mode that costs 1 credit per image, bought through a monthly plan or a one-time credit pack priced in yen. The site says uploads are sent over an encrypted connection and are not used for training, and it works on iPhone, Android and PC.
Upload a JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC/HEIF image by file picker, drag and drop or paste. Each image can be up to 10 MB and 8,000 pixels or 25 megapixels, so iPhone HEIC photos work as they are.
Choose the free mode or the high-precision mode, and the AI removes the background. Check the edges, then use the erase brush to clear leftover background or the restore brush to bring back parts of the subject that were removed. The site notes that the restore brush returns the original pixels from the same position and does not generate new content.
Save the result as a transparent PNG, or switch to a white or solid color background and save as PNG or JPG. You can add up to 20 images at once, up to 100 MB in total, and download the finished files as a ZIP.
