DecorViz AI lets you see a piece of furniture in your own room before you buy it. You upload a photo of your room and a product photo of the sofa, table, lamp or rug you are considering, and DecorViz generates a realistic image of that product placed in your space, with matching lighting, shadows and perspective. The problem it addresses is the familiar one of online furniture shopping: a sofa that looked smaller online, a color that reads differently in your own light, or a piece that clashes with the rest of the room, discovered only after delivery.
Unlike AR apps that need room scanning and 3D models from specific catalogs, DecorViz works from plain 2D product images from any retailer, including IKEA, Wayfair and Amazon, and runs in the browser.
