A case intelligence workspace for litigation teams
About Legalnaut
Legalnaut is a case intelligence workspace for litigation teams. You drop in a case file - an archive, scans, a mailbox export or recordings - and it reads every page once: scans go through OCR, recordings are transcribed, and language models pull out dates, people and claims and compare each claim against the rest of the file. The result is a chronology, person profiles, contradictions and a proof chart, each line carrying the document, page and quotation it came from. It targets the second pass through a file: finding a message read weeks ago, keeping a chronology current as disclosure arrives, and comparing statements against documents at a volume no one can do by hand.
Every AI draft and chat answer is checked against the records before you see it, and a contradiction the model finds stays a suggestion until a lawyer confirms it. Legalnaut gives no legal advice, files nothing with a court, and is not an e-discovery platform, with no privilege review. Plans are priced by matters and pages, not seats, with unlimited users, hosting in Germany (EU), a 14-day trial without a card and a 30-day money-back guarantee on the first payment.
Drop in an archive, a folder, a mailbox export, or forward mail to the matter's address. Formats are recognised by content, duplicates are caught by checksum, and the page count is shown before you commit. A page is one PDF or scan page, about 400 words of e-mail or Word, or one minute of recording.
The file is read in the background; the site says about 100 documents are read, dated and cross-checked in a few minutes.
Then you work the record - timeline, profiles, contradictions, proof chart and deadlines - or ask the AI assistant, which searches and reads the file before answering and cites the page. A public, read-only demo holds the Epic Games v. Apple filings, and what you type there is deleted within a day.
- •Chronology and Person Profiles - Dates, people and events on one timeline, and a profile of what each person said and what was said about them, each entry naming its page.
- •Contradiction Finding - Statements are split into claims and checked against the file; conflicting pairs are shown with both quotations until a lawyer confirms them.
- •Proof Chart - Each issue sits next to the exhibits that carry it, showing where nothing does.
- •Cited AI Assistant - Full-text and meaning search, window-by-window reading of long documents and read-only queries on the case tables, with every answer reporting how many citations were verified.
- •Hearing Preparation - Witness dossiers, examination outlines and deadlines computed from the provision and start date.
- •Exports with a Citation Check - Bundles, chronologies, motions and a case report PDF with your exhibit numbers; every AI draft is labelled a working draft.
Legalnaut is built for litigation teams: solo practitioners on one case file (Solo, $79 a month), practices running several client files (Practice, $299) and firms opening a file every week (Firm, $799). Matters are kept apart, with nothing queryable across two client files. Enterprise is for practices that need their own installation, region and AI model keys. It fits hearing and cross-examination preparation from large files of e-mail, scans and recordings, not privilege review or e-discovery, and it supports a lawyer's judgement rather than replacing it. It is operated by A2Z WEB PTE. LTD. in Singapore.
