GrantCue
Find, win, and manage grants with an AI that knows your organization
About GrantCue
GrantCue is grant discovery, tracking and management software for nonprofits, research offices, SBIR and STTR startups, and public-sector teams. It pulls open opportunities from Grants.gov, state grant portals and foundation sources, lets a team save the ones that fit to a shared pipeline, sends reminders before each deadline, and uses AI to summarize funding notices and draft application sections. It replaces scattered browser tabs, inbox deadlines and competing tracking spreadsheets.
The AI works from an organization profile. A team fills in a Grant Profile once - mission, programs, staff capacity, partnerships and track record - and GrantCue uses it to recommend grants, score opportunity fit and application readiness separately, and draft proposal text. The company says the scores are not predicted win odds. GrantCue is built by a small team in Clinton County, Pennsylvania. Pricing is per organization rather than per seat: a free single-user plan, three paid plans with a set number of users each, and custom Enterprise pricing.
You start free without a card. Every new account gets the Team plan for 14 days, then moves to the Free plan and keeps what it saved.
Discovery starts with a plain search for what your organization does. Filters cover 23 categories, searches can be saved with alert rules, and the AI tags each grant by focus area, eligibility, funding type and geography. Promising grants go into My grants - saving does not apply or contact the funder.
Each grant moves across a Kanban board with stages such as Researching, Drafting, Submitted and Awarded. Deadlines flow out through email reminders, an ICS calendar feed, Google and Outlook sync, and Slack or Microsoft Teams notifications.
To apply, you upload the funding notice PDF and get its key dates, eligibility, funding amounts and process. The writing workspace drafts sections from the Grant Profile, and an AI-generated pre-flight checklist catches missing requirements. After an award, post-award tools track budgets, disbursements and compliance.
- •Grant discovery and smart matching - Federal, state and foundation opportunities refreshed nightly, with recommendations based on your organization's history and similar organizations, and transparent score breakdowns.
- •NOFO PDF summarizer - Extracts key dates, eligibility, funding amounts, priorities, cost sharing and application process from a long funding notice.
- •Evidence-backed fit and readiness - Separate fit and readiness scores built from the NOFO, the organization profile and historical evidence, showing evidence coverage, sources and missing inputs.
- •AI grant writing workspace - Section-by-section drafting, refine, expand and condense modes, funder alignment analysis, a reusable content library, and export to Word or PDF.
- •Pipeline, tasks and reminders - Drag-and-drop Kanban with task templates, approval chains, @mentions and an activity feed.
- •Post-award tracking and migration - Budget versus actuals and payment schedules on Team; spenddown, compliance tracking and scheduled reports on Organization; a GrantHub migration tool and CSV import.
GrantCue is aimed at organizations priced out of enterprise grant systems. An executive director who is also the grant writer can track up to ten grants on the free plan, and nonprofits and state associations get 25% off any paid plan. Research offices and principal investigators doing their own pre-award work can replace spreadsheets with the pipeline and NOFO summaries, and startups can follow SBIR and STTR agency calendars in one pipeline. Public-sector teams get shared deadlines, approval chains and post-award tracking.
Plans scale by users and tracked grants: Essentials covers 3 users and 75 grants, Team 8 users and 250 grants, and Organization 20 users with unlimited grants, custom roles, audit trails and SSO/SAML on request.
