ClearRemover
Brush over people, text or watermarks and the AI fills in the background
About ClearRemover
ClearRemover is an AI object remover that works in the browser. You upload a photo, paint over whatever should not be there, whether a stranger, a caption, a watermark or a bin in the background, and the AI rebuilds what would have been behind it. The problem it solves is an old one: removing an object cleanly used to mean careful clone-stamp and healing-brush work in Photoshop, or installing a mobile app with a subscription. ClearRemover reduces it to brushing and clicking Erase, with no account needed for the first try.
The pricing model is unusual for this category. There is no subscription at all. Everyone gets one free erase a day without signing in, plus one more after signing in with Google, at standard resolution up to 1024 pixels. When that is not enough, you buy a one-time credit pack whose credits never expire, and the same credits unlock HD downloads. Results carry no watermark, uploads are private and deleted automatically, and the site also offers related tools such as a transparent background maker and a green screen remover.
Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP image of up to 20MB from your computer or phone. The editor opens with the photo ready to mark.
Brush over the object, person or text you want gone. The site recommends covering it fully with a small margin around the edges, which gives the model room to blend the fill into the surrounding pixels.
Click Erase. The AI reconstructs the background behind the marked area. Processing time depends on the photo and current demand.
Compare the result with the original using the before and after slider, then download it. Free erases download at standard resolution; spending credits gives you an HD erase. If an erase fails, the FAQ covers how credits are handled, and buying credits does not take away your daily free erases.
- •Remove people and photobombers - Take tourists and strangers out of travel shots, including their shadows, so the scene looks the way you remember it.
- •Erase text, date stamps and watermarks - Clean up captions, timestamps, stray lettering, logos and repeated overlays such as a PREVIEW mark, while keeping the rest of the image intact.
- •Clear clutter and distractions - Remove power lines, street signs, poles, bins, cars, cables and other objects that pull attention away from the subject.
- •Stickers, emojis and blemishes - Peel off stickers and doodles added on top of a photo, and brush away dust, stains and small skin blemishes.
- •Free daily erases, no sign-up - One free erase a day without an account, one more after signing in with Google, with no watermark on the result.
- •Credit packs instead of a subscription - Starter, Popular and Pro packs from $7.90 add erases with no daily limit, unlock HD output, and never expire.
Casual photographers and travellers use ClearRemover to fix the occasional holiday photo without learning an image editor or paying for a monthly app. Small online sellers clean product photos by removing clutter, price stickers or packaging text before listing. Social media managers and content creators remove distractions and stray text from images on deadline.
Bloggers and marketers who reuse their own images can strip old captions and date stamps. Because the free allowance resets every day and paid credits never expire, it suits people who need object removal now and then rather than every hour. Teams doing high-volume retouching will want the larger packs for HD output and no daily cap.
