About MeasureFace
MeasureFace works out the shape of your face from a photograph, and does it in your browser rather than on a server. Nothing is uploaded. That single architectural decision is the reason to pick it over the many free face-shape quizzes that want your selfie and an email address.
Face shape is the input to a lot of ordinary decisions: which glasses frames suit you, which haircut works, how to place a fringe. The advice is widely available and almost always assumes you already know your face shape, which most people do not, and determining it from a mirror is genuinely difficult because you cannot see your own outline objectively.
Running the model locally is not a marketing flourish here. A face photograph is biometric data, and the usual arrangement for a free tool is that your face pays for it. On-device inference means there is no upload to regret, and it is worth preferring on that basis alone.
You allow the page to use a photo or your camera. The image stays on your machine: the model runs in the browser, so nothing crosses the network.
It measures the proportions that determine face shape and returns a classification, along with the reasoning behind it rather than a bare label.

Anyone about to buy glasses or change their hair who has read advice that assumes a face shape they have never established. That is a narrow job and this does it in a minute.
People who will not upload a photograph of their face to a free website, which is a reasonable position and rarely accommodated. The on-device architecture is the whole reason this entry differs from its competitors.
It is not a styling service and will not tell you what to do with the answer. And as with any single measurement, treat the classification as a starting point rather than a rule: faces do not sort cleanly into five categories, and the report costs money the free result does not.
