Giggy
Stop overpaying for voice AI.
About Giggy
Giggy is an AI speech platform for text-to-speech and speech-to-text, built around one idea: basic voice generation should not cost anything. Its Batch mode is free and queued, with per-request limits, and you only pay when you need faster or streaming output. The library offers more than 25,000 voices, text-to-speech in more than 240 languages and transcription in more than 25, available both in the browser and through a REST API. Giggy is operated by GRQ Digital Capital LLC.
The problem Giggy targets is cost. Expressive AI speech has usually been priced per character at rates that make long audiobooks, full audio series or voice inside every corner of an app expensive to attempt. Giggy publishes a comparison table on its homepage estimating that one million characters of text-to-speech costs $5 in its Fast mode and $10 in Streaming, against higher rates from other providers, with Batch listed as free. Paid usage is bought as prepaid, one-time credit packs rather than a subscription, and purchased credits last a year. The site says the company intends to keep free unlimited basic access to its product.
In the browser you choose a voice, type or paste your text and generate speech. Text can carry inline delivery cues such as angry, whisper or long pause to shape the performance. For speech-to-text you upload an audio file or record in the browser, pick a mode and copy or download the finished transcript, with the language detected automatically.
Every request runs in one of three modes. Batch is free and queued, accepting up to 1,250 characters or 60 seconds of audio per request. Fast uses prepaid credits for higher-priority processing and accepts recordings of up to 12 hours. Streaming delivers audio progressively for text-to-speech and cumulative transcript text for speech-to-text.
Developers call the same models through two REST endpoints, POST /v1/text-to-speech and POST /v1/audio/transcriptions, with an API key. Batch and Fast return an asynchronous generation, and Streaming sends results over server-sent events. Credits are shared across tools.

- •Speech API - REST endpoints for text-to-speech and transcription, with Batch, Fast and Streaming modes and the same credit balance as the browser tools.
- •Prepaid credits, no subscription - A free monthly top-up of personal credits, then one-time packs from $3 upward when you need Fast or Streaming capacity. Commercial use of outputs is permitted when you hold the rights to your inputs.
Giggy fits independent creators who need narration for YouTube videos, TikToks or audiobooks and want to try many takes, voices and deliveries without watching a per-character bill. Writers of audio fiction and podcasters can give every character a distinct voice, and educators can turn lessons into audio with a consistent narrator.
App developers who want to add voice or transcription to a product can use the API and choose between free queued generation and paid low-latency modes depending on the feature. Teams that have avoided voice features because of cost, or that need transcription of long recordings, can buy credits only when usage demands it rather than committing to a monthly plan.
