About Somora
Somora is a web app for creating songs with artificial intelligence. You describe the music you imagine, or write your own lyrics, and Somora generates a complete track with vocals or an instrumental that you can play back and download in FLAC. It is aimed at people who have a melody or lyric idea but no instruments or production skills, and it runs in English, Portuguese and Spanish, with song languages chosen separately.
Alongside generation, Somora includes Kassio Studio, an online music editor that runs in the browser. It is free for registered users on every plan and does not consume generation credits, so a generated song can be arranged, extended with new instruments and mixed rather than treated as a finished file. Plans are monthly: a free plan with daily limits and two low-cost paid plans. The Terms allow publishing generated music through distributors, including for commercial use, and that permission covers the free plan too.
- •Choose a mode. In easy generation you describe the song and the AI prepares lyrics, style and details. In advanced mode you write the lyrics yourself and choose style, mood, language, duration, BPM and key.
- •Optionally use Fill with AI to turn a theme into lyrics and musical suggestions, and review them before generating. A beta feature lets you record about 30 seconds of your voice and use it as a reference for the vocals.
- •Submit the request. Songs are generated one at a time in a queue, and you can follow the stages in the studio and get a notification when the track is done.
- •Listen to the full song in your library, download it as FLAC, or open it in Kassio Studio to keep editing and export the result as WAV.
- •Easy and Advanced Generation - start from a short description, or control lyrics, style, mood, language, duration, BPM and key yourself.
- •Lyrics with AI Assistance - Fill with AI turns a theme into lyrics and suggestions; these use a separate quota of ChatGPT compositions per plan.
- •Your Own Voice (Beta) - record a voice sample in the Studio and save it to reuse as a vocal reference in later songs.
- •Kassio Studio Editor - import a Somora song or your own audio, arrange clips on a timeline, write melodies in a piano roll, add synths, bass, guitar and drums, and adjust volume, pan, EQ, reverb and delay.
- •Wide Style Range - genres from pop and rock to Brazilian funk, sertanejo, bossa nova, hip-hop, electronic and experimental blends.
- •Commercial Use - generated songs may be released through distributors, with the reminder that distributor AI rules still apply.
Somora suits hobbyists who want to hear an idea become a song, content creators who need soundtracks for videos, podcasts or games, and people making personal songs for tributes, memories or jokes. Independent artists can use it to sketch lyrics and arrangements and then refine them in Kassio Studio. Note that completed songs are published on public pages by default.
