LTX Studio
AI video production platform for creative teams
About LTX Studio
LTX Studio is Lightricks' professional AI video platform, and the odd one out in their portfolio: where Facetune, Photoleap and Videoleap are consumer phone apps, LTX Studio is a browser-based production tool aimed at people who make video for a living. It is built on LTX, Lightricks' own video model family, which the company also publishes as open weights.
The problem it addresses is that generative video tools produce clips, and production needs sequences. A model that makes a good four-second shot does not help much when you need a coherent thirty-second advert with consistent characters, a deliberate shot order and a style that holds from frame to frame. LTX Studio is structured around that gap, treating the project rather than the clip as the unit of work.
That framing shows in who it targets: the site names TV networks, advertising agencies and in-house studios rather than individual creators. It runs in a browser with a free tier and three paid plans, with a fourth enterprise option negotiated directly.
You begin from a concept rather than a prompt box. The platform breaks an idea into a sequence of shots, and you direct each one - framing, style, characters - with the project holding the through-line so the same character and look persist across shots rather than being re-rolled each time.
Generation runs on the LTX model family, with LTX-2.5 available on every plan including the free tier. Style and character controls constrain what the model produces, which is the part that separates this from a general text-to-video tool: the constraint is the product.
Output is a sequence assembled into a finished video, intended to be production-ready rather than a set of clips to edit elsewhere.
- •Concept-to-sequence workflow - takes an idea and structures it into shots, rather than generating isolated clips
- •LTX-2.5 model on all plans - the current model generation is not gated behind the higher tiers
- •Character and style consistency - controls that hold a look and a cast across multiple shots in a project
- •Shot-level direction - per-shot control of framing, style and content within a sequence
- •Free tier - a genuine no-cost plan rather than a time-limited trial, so the workflow can be evaluated before paying
- •Team and enterprise options - an enterprise plan covering privacy, onboarding and unlimited feature access
LTX Studio is for teams producing video commercially: agencies building concepts for clients, in-house marketing teams making campaign assets, and filmmakers using generative video for previsualisation. The pricing ladder reflects that - $15 a month for an individual is consumer-shaped, but $125 a month is a professional tool, and the enterprise tier exists because organisations buy this differently.
It is not the right tool for a single social clip; Videoleap or a general text-to-video generator will be faster and cheaper for that. The free tier is the honest way to find out which side of that line you are on, and it is a real free tier rather than a trial that expires.
