About CloudPloy
CloudPloy is deployment infrastructure you drive from an AI coding tool. You add a scoped API key, connect Claude Code, Cursor or any MCP client, and your agent can list servers and apps, deploy, provision new servers and estimate cost before it spends anything. The dashboard is there if you want it, but the main path is the agent: the whole product is built so the model you already code with can also ship what it just wrote. It targets the awkward last step of AI-assisted development, where an agent produces a working app and then a human has to leave the editor, open a cloud console and wrestle with servers, SSL and routing by hand.
The commercial model is unusually clean and is a large part of why it earns a listing. The subscription pays only for the control plane: the dashboard, the deploy pipeline and the MCP/API surface. Compute is never marked up. You either bring your own server on Hetzner, DigitalOcean, AWS or any Ubuntu box over SSH, in which case CloudPloy never bills you for compute at all, or you let CloudPloy provision one and pay the provider's exact hourly rate from prepaid credits, shown as its own line item. A server you brought is never stopped or deleted if your plan lapses; CloudPloy simply stops routing to it. That separation of control plane from compute, with no margin on the compute, is stated plainly across the pricing page and FAQ.
There are three steps. First, create an API key in team settings and grant it deploy and provision scopes; that token is the only secret your agent needs. Second, point your AI tool at CloudPloy over MCP HTTP transport, using the same set of tools the REST v1 API exposes (list_servers, list_apps, deploy_app, estimate_cost, provision_server, stop_server and more). Third, deploy: connect a box you already own over SSH or have CloudPloy provision one into a supported cloud, point at a git repository, and it builds and ships. Framework detection is polyglot by default through Nixpacks, covering Node, Python, Go, Rust, Ruby, Java, PHP, Deno and static sites, with WordPress and Laravel available as one-click presets. SSL, containers and routing are handled for you, and power users still get environment variables, custom domains, logs and the full API. If you use provisioned compute, a prepaid credit balance funds it and you are warned before the balance runs low so nothing stops unexpectedly.

Developers and small teams who build with AI coding tools and want the deploy step to live in the same agent workflow rather than a separate console. It fits people who already run their own cloud accounts and resent paying a platform margin on compute, since bring-your-own servers are never billed and provisioned ones are billed at cost. The free-forever tier makes it reasonable for a single side project, while Starter, Pro and Scale raise the server count, per-server size and team seats for agencies and growing teams. It is a weaker fit for someone who wants a fully managed platform-as-a-service that hides servers entirely, or who is not working through an AI agent or MCP client at all, since the whole design assumes agent-driven deploys as the primary path.
