You upload a short excerpt and the BPM Finder calculates tempo, key, meter, energy, waveform, and beat positions locally in your browser, showing half-time and double-time candidates. From there the workflow continues: a song finder can identify the track via audio-fingerprint providers, and the AI agent translates the technical attributes into an editable brief (mood, tempo range, structure) that it sends to a generation provider to create original music you can shape.
Its distinguishing angle is reference-to-original: rather than copying a song, BPM Finder converts a reference into abstract traits (tempo, mood, instrumentation, structure) and uses those to guide an original generation, explicitly designed not to reproduce protected melody, lyrics, or recordings. You upload a clean 10 to 20 second excerpt. The BPM Finder analyzes onset energy and rhythmic periodicity in your browser to show the main BPM with a confidence level, half-time and double-time alternatives, key, meter, waveform, and beat positions, no account required for the public analysis tools. Optionally, the Song Finder sends the authorized excerpt to audio-fingerprint providers (ACRCloud, with AudD as an international fallback) to identify the track, though analysis continues even without a title. The AI music agent then translates the verified musical attributes into an editable Music Brief, and, once you approve, sends a request to the generation provider to create original music. Product credits meter analysis and generation; new accounts get starter credits, and paid plans add more credits valid for a year. Signed-in projects keep version history and follow the product's retention controls.
