About CV Score
CV Score assesses a CV and returns a score, free and without limit, then charges only if you want the rewrites that would raise it. The split is the product: diagnosis costs nothing, the cure is paid, and you know what you are buying before you buy it.
That is an unusually fair shape for this category. Most CV tools either gate the result behind a signup and a subscription, or return a vague score designed to alarm you into paying. Here the score is unlimited and free, so you can check a document, revise it yourself, and check it again without spending anything. The paid step is the specific rewrite suggestions.
The other half is ATS checking: whether an applicant tracking system can actually parse your CV. That is a mechanical question with a right answer, unlike most CV advice, and getting it wrong means a human never sees the document at all.
You upload a CV and get a score in around 60 seconds, with no account required and no limit on how many times you do it.
The free result shows where the CV stands, including the ATS parse check, which is the part most people have never tested.
If you want the fixes, you unlock a Fix Report containing rewrites. A single report is 4.99 USD; the Job Search Pack is 12.99 for five, working out at 2.60 each, which suits tailoring one CV per application; lifetime access is 29.99 once.
Nothing renews. The vendor states plainly that the listed price is what you pay.
- •Free unlimited scoring - not a trial and not one free check, so iterate as much as you like.
- •ATS parse checking - whether the software screening applications can read your document at all.
- •Paid rewrites, not paid scores - you pay for the fix rather than for the diagnosis.
- •Tiered one-time purchases - 4.99 for one, 12.99 for five, 29.99 for lifetime, none recurring.
- •Per-version scoring - the Job Search Pack exists because tailoring a CV per application is the advice everyone gives and nobody costs.
- •Around 60 seconds - fast enough to use between applications.
Anyone applying for jobs and unsure whether their CV survives the automated screen. The free unlimited score answers that at no cost, which makes it worth running regardless of whether you buy anything.
People tailoring a CV per application, where the five-pack is priced for exactly that behaviour.
It is not career advice and not a writing service. It scores a document against mechanical criteria and suggests rewrites; judgement about what to emphasise for a particular role remains yours.
