Strawberry Browser
AI teammates that work alongside you
About Strawberry Browser
Strawberry is a desktop web browser with built-in AI companions that do work inside your tabs. Rather than a chatbot that only answers in a side window or reaches your apps through a fixed set of connectors, the companion works in the same browser you use, including sites you are already logged into. It can research companies on LinkedIn, add them to a Google Sheet, draft emails and follow-ups, update a CRM, create slide decks and dashboards from web sources, and transcribe meetings, all in the browser where that work normally happens.
The site describes companions as AI teammates you hire or create. Strawberry offers official ones built around specific jobs, such as Sales Sally for leads and outreach, Talent Theo for sourcing candidates, Executive Ellis for daily briefs and drafted replies, Marketing Martin for posts and Consulting Cora for client calls and proposals, or you can create your own around your process and schedule. Companions keep a memory of details, habits, people and projects, and can run recurring tasks on a schedule. You set per app and per action what a companion may do without asking, and while it works you can take over or stop it. Regular browsing never uses credits; credits are spent only when a companion chats or acts. The download offered on the site is for Mac, while the FAQ states Strawberry is available for macOS and Windows.
You install the desktop app for free and move over from your old browser, bringing your bookmarks, passwords and Chrome extensions. Strawberry then works as an ordinary browser, with Google Search as the default engine and other engines available.
When you want help, you hire one of the official companions or create one, then describe the task in a chat, for example finding potential customers on LinkedIn and adding them to a spreadsheet. The companion opens the sites it needs, works across your tabs and logged-in accounts and shows its progress, with a control to take over or stop at any point. You can connect apps such as Gmail, Slack and Notion, bring in files and reference material as context, and put repeating jobs on a schedule so they run without you starting them each time.
Each action draws from a monthly credit allowance. Plan credits refresh monthly and do not roll over, and extra credits can be bought as top-ups, which do roll over.
- •Browser agent - Companions work in your tabs and across any website, including pages behind a login, to research, pull data and update tools such as Google Sheets and CRMs.
- •Official and custom companions - Hire ready-made companions for sales, recruiting, executive support, marketing or consulting, or create your own with its own look, process and schedule.
- •Meeting notes without a bot - Strawberry transcribes meetings, summarises them and extracts action items and follow-ups. The FAQ says it works with all video conferencing tools and does not add a meeting bot to the call.
- •Routines - Recurring tasks run on a schedule. The site's position is that if a job can be done in a browser, it can be automated this way.
- •Memory and context - Companions remember details, people, projects and preferences across chats, and can work from project files and notes you add.
- •Visual artifacts - Branded slide decks, posters, infographics and interactive dashboards built from any web source, including ones behind login walls.
Strawberry is aimed at people whose work is mostly browser work. Salespeople and founders can hand off lead research and first-draft outreach written in their voice. Recruiters can source and score candidates against a role. Executives and consultants can get morning briefs, drafted replies and meeting follow-ups. Marketers can turn past results into posts for each channel.
Small teams get a Team plan with shared companions, skills and team context; every team includes 3 free seats, the owner's included. Enterprise adds pooled credits that roll over, invoicing and custom terms.
Passwords, history and cookies are stored locally, and the company states it does not train on your content and meets SOC 2 requirements. It is not a fit if you need a browser on Linux or mobile, since the site names only macOS and Windows.
