StorySing

Your story, your voice, your song

Overview

About StorySing

StorySing is built around one specific and emotionally loaded use: making something for a person that could not have been bought. It turns a memory into an original song, sung in a voice modelled on yours, which is a materially different proposition from generating a track. The distinction the site draws is exact: the best gifts do not come off a shelf, they sound like you. For a wedding, a milestone birthday, a new arrival or a thank-you that ordinary words cannot quite carry, that is a genuinely novel thing to be able to give.

Two design decisions reflect an understanding of what this is for. Output is private by default, which matters enormously when the content is a personal memory about a specific person and the last thing anyone wants is it appearing in a public gallery. And no singing experience is needed, since the voice is modelled rather than performed, which opens it to the overwhelming majority of people who would never record themselves singing. The interface asks who the song is for as its first question, offering partner, child, parents or someone else, which shapes everything downstream. Two free previews let you hear your own voice before paying, and gift guides are published for the occasions it serves.
