ShopToAds
AI ad maker for product photos and store links
About ShopToAds
ShopToAds is an AI ad maker for ecommerce sellers. You give it a product photo or a link to a public product page, and it returns static image ads with the visual, the headline and the call to action already composed together. The problem it addresses is a familiar one for small shops and ad buyers: paid social and display campaigns need a steady supply of fresh creative to test, and producing a new ad for every angle by hand is slow and expensive.
The site frames the product around comparing creative angles rather than producing one finished ad. Its homepage shows a single sneaker presented three ways, as a pain point, a product benefit and a lifestyle scene, and each request can return between 1 and 8 variations. Output is limited to static images. The FAQ is direct about this: the AI ad maker produces static image ads, not video, and the downloads are flattened PNG artwork with the text embedded, not layered design files. There is no free plan. Paid plans start at $49 a month, and the FAQ states that eligible new accounts receive 30 credits once, valid for 30 days, while sample previews and their downloads are free.
There are two entry points, Image to Ads and Link to Ads. With Image to Ads you upload a product photo, choose an aspect ratio and a batch size, add your message and any niche or audience settings, and generate. With Link to Ads you paste a public product page and the tool reads it. Login-protected or blocked pages may be unreadable, and in that case the FAQ says reserved credits are refunded and you can upload a photo instead.
Each generated image costs 10 credits. Link to Ads adds a shared 10-credit link fee per request, so one ad from a link costs 20 credits, three cost 40 and eight cost 90. Failed outputs are refunded; successful images stay charged.
You download the result you want as a PNG. To revise, choose Edit on a result or history image and describe the change, such as a new scene or a shorter headline. The original stays in your image history and the new version costs credits based on batch size. Finished artwork is uploaded through your ad platform, for example Meta Ads Manager, where targeting and budgets are still managed.
- •Photo and link inputs - Start from an uploaded product photo or a public store link. Link to Ads reads public product pages, and a photo upload works when a page cannot be read.
- •1-8 variations per request - Each request returns up to eight different creative directions, so you can compare buying reasons side by side instead of committing to a single concept.
- •Complete ad artwork - Visual, headline and call to action are generated together in one image. Text is embedded, so the FAQ advises checking spelling and product details before you publish.
- •Niche and audience controls - Every plan lists niche and audience controls for steering the message toward a particular shopper or market.
- •Multiple formats - Plans list square, portrait and landscape formats. The FAQ names twelve ratios, including 1:1, 4:5, 9:16, 16:9 and 21:9, to match feed, story and display placements.
- •Edit and history - Results and past generations are saved in history, can be revised with a written instruction and can be downloaded as PNG files.
The FAQ names ecommerce sellers, brand teams, media buyers and agencies as the intended users. A store owner with a handful of products can turn existing product shots into ads for a launch or a promotion without a designer. A media buyer running campaigns on Meta, TikTok or Google can produce several angles for one product and let campaign results decide which works. An agency can use it to rough out client concepts before deciding which ones to finish.
The plans are sized by monthly credits: Basic includes 250 credits, which the site describes as up to 25 ads a month from photos, Standard 700 credits (up to 70 ads) and Pro 2,100 credits (up to 210 ads). Every plan includes the same features, so the choice comes down to volume.
It is a poor fit if you need video ads, editable layered files or a free plan for ongoing use. Because the outputs are AI-generated with embedded text, the site itself recommends supplying approved references and verified claims and checking every result against your brand guidelines.
