About Rowlead
Rowlead is a lead-finding tool for Reddit. You tell it what your product is, it searches recent Reddit posts for the keywords buyers use when they are looking for something like it, filters out the noise, scores each post for how likely its author is to buy, and drafts a reply that sounds like a peer rather than an ad. You then read the lead, edit the draft and post it yourself.
The problem it addresses is that buyers increasingly ask Reddit before they ask Google, with posts like 'any good alternative to HubSpot for a 3 person team?' or 'is there anything cheaper than Semrush?'. Those threads are valuable, but Reddit search mostly returns launches, job ads and self-promotion, checking subreddits by hand every morning still misses most of them, and by the time you find one a competitor has often already replied. Salesy replies also get downvoted, removed or banned.
What makes Rowlead distinct is that it deliberately stops short of automation. It never posts, comments or sends DMs on your behalf and never logs into your social accounts, which the site positions as the difference between it and auto-DM bots: your account stays safe and your replies stay genuine. Pricing is a single Pro plan at $29/month (shown against a struck-through $149) with a 3-day free trial that requires a card.
Rowlead is built so you can see your first lead in about two minutes.
Step one is to paste your website. Rowlead reads your landing page and suggests buyer-intent keywords to track, such as 'hubspot alternative', 'simple crm' or 'crm for startups' for a CRM product. You can track up to three keywords per product.
Step two is the scan. Each scan searches recent Reddit posts for your keywords, drops self-promotion and hiring posts, and uses AI to score how ready each author is to buy. Posts are labelled by type, such as an alternative search, a recommendation request or a general discussion, and ranked so the hottest buyers sit at the top. Rowlead remembers every post it has already shown you for each product, so later scans highlight only what is new.
Step three is replying like a human. For each lead you get a direct link to the Reddit post and an AI-drafted reply written to sound short, specific and like a peer. You tweak the draft, post it yourself on Reddit, and save the good leads to a simple to-do and done pipeline. Email alerts can tell you about new high-intent posts without opening the app.
- •AI intent scoring - Every post gets a score from 0 to 100 along with a reason, so you can see at a glance which threads are people actively shopping for a product like yours and which are general chatter. The highest-intent posts are always sorted to the top of your feed, and the label on each post (alternative search, recommendation or general discussion) tells you what kind of conversation you are walking into before you open it.
- •Promo and job-ad filtering - Rowlead strips out the posts that clutter Reddit search for commercial keywords: product launches, 'I built this' posts, hiring threads and case studies. Its own example shows six raw results for 'crm' reduced to the two worth your time, which is the difference between scrolling a noisy search page and reviewing a short list.
- •Only new leads - Rowlead tracks every post it has shown you for each product, so repeat scans do not bury you in threads you have already read. New posts are clearly marked, and already-seen ones are hidden.
- •Replies that do not sound like ads - For each lead, the AI drafts a reply in the style of a helpful peer rather than a pitch. You stay in control: the draft is a starting point you edit, and you post it yourself from your own account. The site contrasts this with salesy pitches that get downvoted or removed: the drafts aim to be useful in the thread first, which is what keeps a reply from being reported as spam.
- •Save and track - Bookmark promising leads and move them from to-do to done, so the threads you plan to answer do not get lost between scans.
- •Email alerts and multiple products - Turn on alerts to hear about high-intent posts by email, and keep separate keywords and leads for each product you are building, up to five products on the paid plan. Each product gets its own keyword set, so a founder running a CRM and an invoicing tool sees two clean feeds instead of one mixed list.
The Pro plan includes up to 100 scans and 200 AI reply drafts a month, three keywords per product, AI high-intent filtering, saved leads and direct post links. Checkout runs through Stripe and you can cancel from the billing page. Sign-up works with email and password or with a Google account.
Rowlead is aimed at founders and small teams selling software or online products whose buyers hang out on Reddit. The examples on the site show who it has in mind: SaaS makers looking for people asking for a Calendly, Notion or HubSpot alternative, indie hackers looking for someone shopping for a feedback widget or uptime monitor, and ecommerce app builders looking for Shopify merchants with an abandoned cart problem.
Bootstrapped founders doing their own distribution get the most from it, because the alternative is checking subreddits like r/SaaS, r/startups, r/smallbusiness and r/Entrepreneur by hand every day. Rowlead turns that into a short daily review of scored threads with a draft reply ready to adapt.
It also suits marketers and growth people who want a community-led channel without the reputational risk of spam bots. Because nothing is posted automatically, it fits teams that care about staying within subreddit rules and keeping a real voice.
People running several small products can keep each product's keywords and leads separate. It is not a fit for anyone who wants automated posting or DMs at scale, which Rowlead explicitly does not do. The three-day trial makes it easy to check, before paying, whether your keywords actually surface buyers on Reddit.
