About Genogram Pro
Genogram Pro is an online editor for genograms, the family-system diagrams that therapists, social workers, genetic counselors and educators use to map relationships, illness and patterns across generations. Drawing one by hand or in a generic diagram tool is slow and rarely follows clinical notation, and case files change as a client's story unfolds. Genogram Pro draws in the standard notation described by McGoldrick and Gerson, keeps the diagram editable as the case moves, and lets you share it with a supervisor without the data leaving your device unencrypted.
Its AI features sit on top of a full manual editor. In the Professional plan you can describe a family in plain words and the AI assistant drafts the whole genogram, including deaths, illness and addiction, or upload a photo of a paper or whiteboard genogram and have it turned into an editable one, with the assistant asking about anything it could not read clearly. Data is AES-256 encrypted before it leaves your device and protected by a 12-word recovery phrase. The product is run by Viston MB, a company registered in Lithuania. The editor itself is free forever; Professional costs $14.99 a month, or $9.99 a month billed annually, with a 7-day free trial.
