Edform
Free teaching platform with AI tools, quizzes, worksheets and games
About Edform
Edform is a free online teaching platform that puts AI lesson planning, a quiz maker, interactive worksheets, interactive lessons, video lessons, classroom games and a classroom screen in one place. It is aimed at a familiar problem in classrooms: most teachers juggle a quiz site, a game site, a slides tool, a worksheet tool and a timer website, and retype the same questions into each. In Edform everything is built on the same set of questions, so one quiz can become homework, a live game, a lesson, a printout or flashcards in one click without copying anything.
The AI side of Edform is a set of teacher tools that draft lesson plans, quizzes, worksheets, rubrics, slide decks and parent letters in the teacher's own language, from a description or from a source such as a PDF, a photo, a web page or a YouTube video. Everything it produces can be edited and then turned into an activity students complete online. Grading is automatic for closed questions, with partial credit, and open answers can be graded against a rubric. Every feature is available on the free Basic plan; paid plans add more AI points and unlimited chats with historical figures. Students join with a class code on any device and do not need an email address.
A teacher signs up with Google or email and creates a class, either by sharing a class code or by pasting a list of names. Students join on any device without needing an email.
To build material, the teacher can write questions by hand, paste or upload a PDF, or ask an AI tool to draft a lesson plan, quiz, worksheet or slide deck. AI tools can work from an uploaded PDF, a photo, a web page or a YouTube video, and results can be exported to Word, PDF or PowerPoint. Each AI generation spends AI points: Basic includes 5 a month and Pro 300, which the pricing page describes as enough for about 300 lesson plans, quizzes or slide decks.
The same questions then power every format. A quiz can be assigned as homework, run as a live race or team game where students join with a code, presented as an interactive lesson with polls, or printed. During class, the classroom screen provides timers, name pickers, noise meters and agendas.
When students hand in, Edform grades every closed question immediately. Reports show each student's answers, the hardest questions and the most common wrong answers, and teachers can grant extra time, extra attempts and personal deadlines.
