Timed HSK 3.0 mock exams with instant scoring, AI essay marking and AI speaking scores
About HSKWin
HSKWin is an exam-preparation platform for the HSK, the standardized Chinese proficiency test, built around the 2026 HSK 3.0 standard. Its core is full-length, timed mock exams for every level from HSK 1 to HSK 7-9: 75 papers in total, ten each for levels 1 to 6 and fifteen for the banded 7-9 exam, each sat in the official section order, at official length, on a server-side clock. When you hand a paper in, it is scored immediately with section scores, a pass probability against your level's pass line and a report on weak spots. AI sits on top of that exam core as the marking and analysis layer: it marks written answers, scores spoken HSKK answers and writes a short analysis of each result that points to what to study next. The problem it addresses is that many free HSK practice sites still serve HSK 2.0 papers, run untimed or skip the writing and speaking parts, which are the hardest to practise alone because nobody marks them.
The papers are not official past papers. The site says this plainly: official past papers are the copyright of Chinese Testing International (CTI), HSK 3.0 has no past papers yet, and every HSKWin paper is written against the published 3.0 syllabus, with each level page stating what it was built from and which standard that level is examined under today. HSKWin describes itself as an independent study tool and its terms state that it is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to CTI, Hanban or the Center for Language Education and Cooperation. The operator is not named beyond the HSKWin name, and support is by email at support@hskwin.com. Scores, pass probabilities, writing marks and speaking scores are produced by HSKWin's software, including third-party AI models, against the published marking criteria, and the terms are explicit that they are practice estimates, not official results. Writing is sent to an AI provider for marking; spoken answers are transcribed by a speech-recognition provider and the audio is then discarded, and the privacy policy says recordings are not used to train any model. The site has no ads.
You start by finding your level. A free adaptive level test takes about three minutes and needs no account, and every paper on the site can be previewed, with up to three questions per section shown alongside the answer key and explanation.
To sit a full mock you create a free account. The paper runs like the real sitting: listening, reading and writing in order, each section on its own countdown that closes itself when time is up, with listening audio recorded to the official pattern and played the number of times your level plays it. Because the clock runs on the server, refreshing or opening a second tab does not buy extra time, and when you pause a paper its questions are hidden.
When you hand in, the score appears at once: a total against the pass line, section scores, a marked answer sheet and a pass probability, which the site describes as an estimate weighted by section rather than a promise. Written answers are marked by AI with a model answer, and an exam result analysis written by AI summarizes where marks were lost and what to study next. With a paid plan you also get the full review of every paper, with correct answers, explanations and listening scripts.
Every question you miss goes into a mistake book with its explanation attached and stays there until you mark it learned. From there you can drill vocabulary with flashcards, read graded stories at your level and come back for the next timed mock.
- •Timed HSK 3.0 mock exams - Full papers for HSK 1 to 6 and HSK 7-9, written to the 2026 syllabus with the current item types, section order, section timing and pass marks. Each section has its own countdown, and listening follows the official pattern at exam speed. The free account includes one full timed mock; paid plans include three new timed mocks a month.
- •Instant scoring and pass probability - Papers are scored the moment you submit, with a score out of the level total, section scores and a pass probability against your level's pass line, plus a report on weak spots and an AI-written exam result analysis with suggestions for what to study next.
- •AI essay marking - Written answers are marked on the three dimensions the exam's raters use, content, language and structure, and every deduction is tied to the sentence that caused it, so you can check the reasoning rather than trust a bare number. A model answer is shown alongside, and you can flag a mark you disagree with.
- •AI HSKK speaking scores - Spoken answers for the HSKK speaking test are recorded in the browser, transcribed and scored, giving speaking practice a mark it rarely gets when studying alone.
- •Mistake book - Every missed question is saved with its explanation, grouped by section and question type so you can see which part of the paper costs you marks, and kept until you mark it learned. Paid plans add a PDF export.
- •Vocabulary, graded stories and free tools - The complete HSK 3.0 word list of about 11,000 words, with pinyin, meaning and audio, is free to browse and can be drilled with spaced-repetition flashcards twenty at a time. Graded stories are written inside each level's word list with tap-to-see pinyin and meaning. Free tools include the level test, an HSK score calculator, an exam date list and a registration reminder.
HSKWin is built for learners with an HSK sitting on the calendar who want to know where they stand before exam day. Students applying to Chinese universities or scholarships, professionals who need a certificate for work, and teachers or researchers preparing for the advanced HSK 7-9 exam, which is already examined as a 3.0 paper, can rehearse the whole sitting under real timing and see their weak sections.
It is especially useful for self-studying learners who have no teacher to mark their writing or speaking, since the AI marking gives feedback on exactly the parts of the exam that are hardest to practise alone. Learners moving between HSK 2.0 materials and the new 3.0 levels will find each level page states which standard it is examined under, with the date it was last checked.
The free account suits someone who wants to sit one full paper, get a daily AI essay mark and speaking score, and read the graded stories before committing. The monthly plan fits a learner preparing for one upcoming exam date, and the lifetime plan fits someone planning to climb several levels over time.
It is less suited to anyone who wants official past papers, which HSKWin does not offer, or who needs an official score: the site stresses that its marks are practice estimates and do not predict or guarantee a real result.
