IamVERA
Multi-model AI verification for confidential professional work
About IamVERA
IamVERA is an AI answer verification layer for professionals who cannot act on a single unchecked model response. It routes a question through several models with distinct roles: Claude drafts the answer, GPT reviews the factual claims, Grok challenges the reasoning and Perplexity checks public sources. Vera then synthesises a final answer and keeps the trail behind it visible - findings, corrections, disagreements and sources - so the user can judge how an answer was checked rather than how confident it sounds. The company is explicit that this does not guarantee truth or replace professional judgement.
IamVERA is also built for confidential material. Its Semantic Privacy Shield swaps detected sensitive values for synthetic placeholders before context reaches external AI providers, Vera Office adds a browser-based DOCX workspace, and the newer Vera X-Ray runs detection on the user's own device. It is a product of The Coding Company B.V., founded by Victor Angelier, built and hosted in the EU. Pricing is per run (one question through the chain) and billed in euros: Starter is a three-month free trial with 10 runs per month, after which paid plans start at EUR 79 per month excluding VAT.
You ask a question or attach a document and choose which checks the task needs; the chain is configurable per session and shows the credits and cost of each model call. With the full chain selected, Claude produces a baseline answer, GPT audits its facts, Grok questions the assumptions and Perplexity looks for current, citable sources. Where the models disagree, Vera surfaces the conflict instead of forcing a consensus. For documents, the Privacy Shield pseudonymises sensitive values inside the customer-isolated environment and runs a fail-closed check before anything is sent; original values are restored afterwards. A question counts as one run whether it takes four model calls or seven, and when the allowance runs out, verification stops with a message rather than adding charges.
- •Configurable Verification Chain - Answer, factual review, critical challenge and source verification roles across Claude, GPT, Grok and Perplexity, with models selectable per session.
- •Visible Verification Trail - Each answer shows the model steps, corrections, disagreements and sources. The company also publishes tests of its own chain, failures included, with raw JSON run data.
- •Semantic Privacy Shield - Replaces names, dates, references to minors, diagnoses and case numbers with synthetic values while keeping relationships intact, and blocks transmission if the outbound check fails.
- •Vera X-Ray - A newer on-device step that detects sensitive values in PDFs, scans and text (Dutch and English) and lets the user review what goes out.
- •Vera Office - A DOCX workspace for summarising and rewriting, where only validated changes from a controlled action plan are saved. Included from Essential upward.
- •API and Compliance Reporting - API access is an EUR 50 per month add-on on Essential and Professional and included on Compliance, which adds a data processing agreement, priority support and PDF verification reports.
IamVERA is aimed at professionals whose AI output is acted upon rather than just read. Lawyers can have a draft analysis reviewed for unsupported claims before it reaches a client, notaries can check a draft deed for inconsistent wording, and board members can test a report for weak assumptions. Doctors and healthcare professionals can use it for documentation tasks such as summaries and handovers, with clinical judgement staying with them. Solo practitioners fit the single-user Essential plan; firms needing seats, a DPA and reports will look at Professional (5 users) or Compliance (25 users). The ISO and NEN certifications listed on the site are the company's own statements.
