Rephrase AI

Rephrase what you wrote into what you meant to say

Overview

About Rephrase AI

Rephrase AI is a web editor for rewriting a sentence, a paragraph, an email or a short draft so that it says what you meant, without changing the point. You paste the passage, pick a writing profile, and get back a reworded version you can compare against your original before deciding what to keep. The problem it targets is a familiar one: the idea is already there, but the wording is stiff, too long, too casual for the audience or simply not quite right, and you have rewritten the same paragraph three times. Instead of returning one generic rewrite, Rephrase AI gives you a starting profile (Academic, Professional, Casual or Creative) and four separate controls for formality, complexity, brevity and creativity, so you can steer the next version one adjustment at a time. Around the editor sits a set of free single-purpose tools, including a sentence, paragraph and word rephraser, a summarizer, an AI humanizer and an AI detector, which work without an account.

The product is run by Rephrase AI LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company named in its Terms of Service. Its about page frames the approach as "AI should help you write, not write for you": the writer stays the author and the tool proposes wording. Beyond the website there is a Rephrase AI plugin for ChatGPT that rewrites a draft inside a ChatGPT conversation using the same account and allowance. Pricing is freemium. The Free plan includes 3 standard rephrases a month of up to 3,000 characters each, and Pro costs $29 a month, or $17.42 a month billed annually ($209 a year), with unlimited rephrases of up to 10,000 characters and the deeper SuperRephrase mode. Eligible first-time subscribers can start with a 7-day free trial, and the company offers a full refund if you email support within seven days of your first payment.
