RoomMaker AI
Structure-aware room redesign from a photo
About RoomMaker AI
RoomMaker AI redesigns a room from a photograph while leaving the room itself alone. That constraint is the product. Most AI interior tools will happily move a window, close a doorway or invent a wall to make a nicer picture, which produces something inspiring and useless: you cannot show it to a builder, and you cannot judge whether it would work in the space you actually have. RoomMaker calls this structure-aware, and it means the layout, windows and structural elements stay recognisable so the output is a proposal for your room rather than a picture of a different one.
The coverage is broad for a single-purpose tool: nineteen room types and twenty-one interior styles, with a free-text field for constraints the presets do not cover. The room types go past the usual list into rental listing, Airbnb suite, retail studio and cafe corner, which tells you who else it is aimed at. Output comes at three quality levels, Basic 1K at 6 credits, Pro 2K at 18 and Ultra 4K at 30, so the resolution decision is made per image rather than per plan.
There is one free watermarked Basic preview, which is enough to see whether the structure-preservation actually works on your own awkward room. Paid plans are $9, $29 and $99 a month for 300, 1,000 and 3,500 credits, credits stay with the account, and failed generations return their credits.
Photograph the room as it is. A wide shot that shows the walls, windows and doors gives the model the structure it is meant to preserve, and a tight shot of one corner gives it nothing to work with.
Pick a room type and a style from the presets, then add any constraints in your own words. The free-text field is where you put the things a preset cannot know, such as a radiator that has to stay or a door that opens inward.
Choose a quality level. Basic 1K is for deciding between directions, Ultra 4K is for the one you settled on and want to show somebody. Paying per image rather than per month means you are not buying 4K renders of ideas you will discard.
Generate and compare. The first Basic preview is free and watermarked, so you can test the thing that matters, which is whether your room is still your room in the output.
- •Structure-aware output - Walls, windows and doors stay where they are, so the render is a proposal for your room rather than an inspiring picture of a different one
- •Nineteen room types - Including rental listing, Airbnb suite, retail studio and cafe corner alongside the usual domestic rooms
- •Twenty-one styles plus a free-text field for constraints the presets do not cover
- •Three quality levels - Basic 1K, Pro 2K and Ultra 4K at 6, 18 and 30 credits, chosen per image
- •Free watermarked preview - Test structure preservation on your own room before paying
- •Credits do not expire and failed generations are refunded - Both the right defaults for credit-metered generation
Homeowners and renters weighing a change who need to show somebody else what they mean. The structure preservation is what makes that conversation possible, because the other person can recognise the room.
Landlords, hosts and estate agents are clearly a target given the rental listing and Airbnb suite room types. Virtual staging of a real space, with the space still identifiable, is the use with an actual payback.
Renters specifically benefit from the constraint-preserving approach, since the whole problem is working within a space you are not allowed to alter.
Two things to weigh. This does one job, so if you also need exterior design, garden work or floor plans, a broader tool covers more ground. And the free tier is a single watermarked preview rather than a renewing allowance, so any real use means buying credits.
