About PilotMyX
PilotMyX is an X/Twitter analytics and publishing tool built to be used by an AI agent as much as by a person. It imports the posts and replies you have already published, refreshes their metrics every day, and gives you a dashboard, a data view, timing analytics and a publishing calendar. The part that sets it apart is an MCP server: you connect a compatible AI client such as ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or Gemini CLI to your PilotMyX account, and the agent can read your real account history, compare what worked, draft your next post in your own voice and, if you grant the permission, put it on the calendar. The problem it targets is the gap between looking at numbers and deciding what to post next. Most creators check their analytics, notice something, write the idea in a notes app and never test it. Generic AI writing advice does not help either, because the model cannot see your account, your average posts or the replies where you sound most natural.
PilotMyX is deliberate about where the AI lives. The vendor states that it does not run a hidden content generator and does not post autonomously; it supplies structured account data and publishing tools over MCP, and your own agent does the reasoning and drafting. Plans include a downloadable skills bundle with a required PilotMyX MCP skill that teaches the agent how to check data freshness, sample representative posts, compare posts against replies and use publishing actions safely, plus an optional Voice skill that keeps voice rules and lessons in a local notes file on your side. Every plan starts with a 7-day free trial and then moves to a monthly or yearly subscription. PilotMyX is published by TheoryCraft, a company registered in Paris, and is independent of X Corp.
You start by signing in with X through official X OAuth, choosing a plan and starting the trial. PilotMyX never sees your X password. It then imports the history included in your plan, up to 100 posts on Starter, 300 posts and 100 replies on Basic, or 600 posts and 500 replies on Growth, with reposts excluded, and refreshes recent posts, replies, metrics and follower data daily.
From there you can work in the dashboard. The overview shows recent performance and period-over-period changes, the data screen lists individual posts and replies with filters, sorting and metrics, the analytics screen shows timing patterns by day and local publication time, and the calendar holds drafts, media, scheduled posts and publication results.
To bring in an agent, open MCP Access. Hosted clients such as ChatGPT, Claude web and Claude Cowork connect through an OAuth approval screen, and the default connection reads account data and cannot publish. Local clients such as Codex, Claude Code and Cursor use a scoped token with a name, a chosen set of permissions and an optional expiry. You download the skills bundle, paste the setup prompt into your agent and verify the connection with a read-only request first.
A typical session then looks like the example on the homepage: ask the agent to review the last 30 days, read the posts that earned the most profile visits, suggest three follow-up ideas, draft them using your own writing as a reference and wait for approval before scheduling. You review the queue in PilotMyX and compare the results after the posts go live.
- •X/Twitter Analytics - Compare reach, engagement and profile visits across a period rather than chasing one breakout post. You can read the posts behind the numbers, compare periods and check whether a single outlier is skewing the result. Every analytics screen shows when the account was last synchronized, and a refresh action pulls newer data between daily syncs.
- •Reply Analytics - On Basic and Growth, the replies you write to other accounts are imported and analysed separately from your original posts. You can rank them by available metrics, see which conversations brought profile visits rather than just impressions, and find the replies that show your natural voice so they can become standalone posts.
- •Post Scheduler and Calendar - Keep ideas as drafts, attach ordered images, alt text and a quoted-post URL, choose a date and see the week before it goes live. Posts can be edited, rescheduled, cancelled or published immediately. Threads are supported and every post in a thread counts toward the monthly publishing allowance. Replies cannot be scheduled.
- •Timing Analytics - Uses the performance of your own posts to help you choose days and hours worth testing, and shows how much history supports each pattern so a thin sample is not mistaken for a rule.
- •MCP Server for AI Agents - A remote Streamable HTTP endpoint that gives a compatible agent tools for your posts, replies, analytics and publishing calendar. The site publishes setup guides for more than twenty clients, including ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini, Gemini CLI, Grok, Manus, Perplexity Computer and OpenClaw, plus a generic guide for any MCP client.
- •Scoped Permissions and Skills Bundle - Reading data, reading drafts, editing drafts and media, scheduling and immediate publishing are separate permissions, so an analytics agent can stay read-only. Each agent gets its own token that can be revoked without touching the others. The bundled MCP skill teaches the agent the analysis workflow, and the optional Voice skill maintains voice notes locally rather than on PilotMyX servers.
PilotMyX is aimed at people building an audience on a single X account who want to learn from that account rather than fill a queue. Solo creators, founders building in public, writers and independent consultants can use it to find which topics and formats keep earning profile visits, then plan the next week of posts around a clear test instead of a blank page.
It suits people who already work inside an AI client. If you spend your day in Claude, ChatGPT, Codex or Cursor, the MCP connection means you can ask for an analysis of your last month, get drafts that draw on your real posts and replies, and approve what goes on the calendar without copying analytics into a chat window. Heavy repliers get particular value from Basic and Growth, since reply analytics shows whether time spent in conversations is bringing the right attention.
You do not need an AI agent to use it; the dashboard covers analytics, drafting and scheduling on its own, and the FAQ says a small audience is fine, although fewer posts mean fewer examples to compare.
It is a weaker fit for teams that publish the same campaign across many social networks or need large approval workflows. The vendor itself points those users to broad social media suites, since PilotMyX is built around one connected X account. There is no free plan; the 7-day trial requires a card and converts to the chosen subscription unless cancelled.
