The genres are fantasy, bedtime, adventure, romance (kept non-graphic), horror, sci-fi, mystery and fanfic, and each one shapes plot structure and pacing, so a mystery plants fair clues early and a bedtime story winds down instead of ending on a shock. Short and medium stories run up to 1,200 words and long ones up to 2,500. Writing stories is free every day; credits pay for pictures, narration and video, and the pricing page shows the cost of each before you confirm. Paid plans add a monthly credit allowance, watermark-free downloads, animated video and 180-day storage.
