Ada vs Forethought

Two established platforms for automating customer support at company scale. The most useful thing to say about both is what neither will tell you up front.

Which should you pick?

Neither publishes pricing. Forethought lists Team, Professional and Enterprise with no figures attached, and Ada publishes no tiers at all, so any budget comparison means two sales conversations and there is no way around that. On capability they lean differently: Forethought is built around the ticket lifecycle, triaging, assisting agents and resolving inside a helpdesk you already run, which suits a team with an existing support stack it does not want to replace. Ada is a conversational automation platform, closer to owning the customer-facing channel itself. If you have Zendesk or similar and want to make it better, start with Forethought. If you are automating the front door, Ada. Expect enterprise contracts and procurement in both cases, and budget the evaluation time accordingly.
